Come join us for our first annual Rock YTH Showcase! Our teens believe they are just crazy enough to impact our world through their talents and abilities. Crafts, baked goods, and more will be on sale or raffled off – with all of the proceeds going to missions directly. Students will also be playing music, sports, and other things (nail painting, anyone?) all centered around one goal – to see Human Trafficking stopped across the globe – and even in our own community.

 

Light refreshments will be available for donation, of which all proceeds go directly to Speed the Light and Project Rescue

“What is YTH Showcase?”

 YTH Showcase is an event that the students at Church of the Rock hold to combat human trafficking by raising funds in unique and fun ways. Whether it is shooting free throws, baking pies, or making crafts, each student brings their own creativity to missions.

 

“Where does the money actually go?”

 ALL of the funds raised goes through an organization called Speed the Light (https://stl.ag.org). 
Speed the Light is a missions organization that partners with groups around the world for change.
One of those groups is Project Rescue (https://www.projectrescue.com).  Project Rescue seeks to eradicate the world of Human Trafficking.

 

“What forms of payment can I use?”
-Cash is the best form of payment, but there will be a few adult leaders ready to assist you in giving directly to Speed the Light at the event on behalf of our students. If you bid on something and win, you can pay with cash, check, or card.
