And surely\, I am with you always\, to the very end of the age.” \n—Matthew 28:18-20 \nWhy should I be baptized?\n• To follow the example set by Christ.\nAt that time Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized by John in the river. —Mark 1:9 \n• Because Christ commands it.\nJesus said\, “Go then\, to all people everywhere and make them my disciples\, baptize them in the name of the Father\, the Son\, and the Holy Spirit\, and then teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.” —Matthew 28:19-20 \n• It demonstrates that I really am a Christ-follower.\nWe know that we have come to know Him\, if we obey His commands. —1 John 2:3 \nWhat does baptism really mean?\n• It illustrates Christ’s burial and resurrection.\nFor when you were baptized\, you were buried with Christ\, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ. —Colossians 2:12 \n• It illustrates my new life as a Christ-follower.\nWhen someone becomes a Christian\, he becomes a brand-new person inside. Baptism does not “save” you\, only your faith in Christ does that. Baptism is like a wedding ring\, it’s the outward symbol of the commitment you made in your heart.\nThose who believed and accepted His message were baptized… —Acts 2:41 \nHow do I register for Baptism?\n• Simply click here to fill out your registration or to register your kids.\n• Attend the info meeting on March 23rd at 5:15pm. \nWhat do I wear? \n• A Baptism shirt will be provided the day of your baptism. Plan to arrive early to allow time to change.\n• A towel will be given to you immediately after your baptism.\n• Changing areas will be provided after your baptism. \nWhat is the schedule? \n• Plan to arrive at church at 5:00pm\, and check in at the designated Baptism check-in area\, and then go change into your shirt.\n• Join everyone in the from of the Auditorium at 5:15 for the info meeting.\n• Worship Night begins at 6:00pm and the Baptisms will begin around 6:40. \nIf you have more questions\, please email or call the office.
